The time it takes to charge a battery depends on the charger and the capacity of the battery. The larger the battery, the longer it takes to charge.
It is possible to reduce the charging time of a battery by using a charger that provides more power (measured in ampere or amp for short). But it's necessary to consider that the charger will then in turn require more power.
Many electrical connections in Burkina Faso are limited to 3 amps. We take this condition into account, and offer our motorcycle with the smaller battery (72V / 20 Ah) with a charger that consumes a maximum of 3 amps.
If you opt for the motorcycle with the larger battery (72V / 32Ah) it will be delivered with a charger that takes up to 4 amps. In that case, it is recommended to have an electrical connection that provides more power (5 amps or more). You could also use the 3 amp charger which will take longer to charge the battery.
Your electricity meter might indicate the capacity of your electrical connection.
